Liz Schiller has been speaking before audiences on a wide variety of topics for more than 25 years. Today, she is a financial advisor who works with her clients over the long term to help them achieve their dreams. She holds Series 6, 63, 66 and 7 securities licenses, as well as California Life Insurance License # 0E42305 (for life, health and long term care insurance).
Liz has degrees from UC Berkeley and Cornell University. She came to financial consulting after a 15-year career in nonprofit fundraising and management. A native Californian, she lives in Pasadena with her husband and son.
Liz can present on Financial Basics, Financial Basics for Teachers, Essential Financial Topics for Families, and tailored presentations for women and for small business owners.
Oleg Katrikh is the Executive Director of Operations, principal consultant and one of the co-founders of Retirement Benefits Consulting (RBC).
Oleg was born in the old Soviet Union but was raised and educated in the United States. He received a degree in Philosophy and a degree in Linguistics from UCLA. Oleg's professional background is over 15 years in Business, Financial Services Operations and Sales. He started his career in Financial Services with AIG SunAmerica.
Oleg has been involved in the executive management, start-up, development and operations of several successful financial services organizations before forming Retirement Benefits Consulting, LLC together with a group of close associates. His involvement with RBC includes overseeing overall operations of the company and its affiliates. He also maintains and services a small group of personal clients.
Oleg's licenses include FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 55, 63 and 66. He is a registered principal with Gold Coast Securities, Inc., an Investment Advisor Representative with Gold Coast Securities, a Registered Investment Advisor, UWPC Certified Asset Protection Planner. and maintains a California Life Agents and Long Term Care license. California Life Insurance License number 0C08957. Oleg can provide presentations on Financial Literacy for Small Business Owners and Financial Basics.
Dr. Dennis Buckley is a third generation Southern California resident who grew up in Downey, California. He worked eighteen years in the grocery industry before discovering his true passion of helping others with chiropractic care as he had been helped. While working full time in the grocery industry, he took a full load of courses and graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1993 with honors. He started practicing in Pasadena and worked with Dr. Michael Budincich for 11 years. He moved to the new Los Angeles College of Chiropractic Pasadena clinic as a private practitioner and clinician. In March of 2009, with his business partner, he started The Health Advantage Health and Wellness Center.
Dr. Buckley has served his profession from the local level to the state level. In 2004-2005, he was president of the California Chiropractic Association. He serves locally as the Chair of the Board of the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. He is president of Performance Advantage, which provides health and wellness programs to small businesses. He is also a partner in Get Real Get Going, a practice management group for mental health professionals. Dr. Buckley works as a consultant to vendors in the chiropractic profession and provides consulting to chiropractors in business development, marketing and networking. He serves as team doctor to local high schools and teaches injury prevention and risk management to football programs. He enjoys golf, family and traveling when he has time.
Originally from Virginia, Brant Griffin earned his B.A. in Economics from Elon University in North Carolina. He attained the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary Analyst (AIFA®) designation, awarded by the Center for Fiduciary Studies, which is associated with the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business of the University of Pittsburgh. Brant is an advisor to The Center for Due Diligence and a regular speaker at industry conferences.
In 1995, Brant commenced his career with T. Rowe Price & Associates as a Senior Retirement Plan Consultant, where he advised emerging companies in the evaluation of their qualified plan options. In 1999, shortly after moving to California, Brant joined the Retirement Services Department of Oppenheimer and Co., Inc. where he rose to the position of Western Regional Director, managing the consulting efforts of over $1.2 billion of qualified plans. In 2001, Brant began building the framework for the formation of the Corporate Services Group (CSG) of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. in 2003. CSG was an industry pioneer in providing conflict free, fee-only investment consulting and fiduciary advocacy for institutional, participant-directed plan sponsors. In 2008, Brant and his partner completed a lift-out the central members of CSG to found North Pier Fiduciary Management, LLC.
